January 19, 2008: It's been a hectic year, and it's time to be moving again. We're relocating back to Florida this February; check back here for more information in March 2008.

Further Confusion is coming up this weekend. There's a bunch of new materials coming out both at the con and via mail order. A new Serious Fitness 2008: Serious Studs! Portfolio will debut at the con, and be available through the Studio Store here. And new and old Loller-Wear shirts will be back in stock, at the convention and by mail order from Merchandise Maven ... check the Loller-Wear web site for details.

The next few months will be busy with work, moving, and resettling, but look for some changes here throughout the year. Check back often!

January 26, 2007: The move is complete! We're settled in sunny California again, this time in the Bay Area. Our new address is listed on the main page.

Further Confusion is past, but merchandise is still available. Buffalo Wings Annual 2007 is out and will be available online soon from Sofawolf Press. And Loller-Wear shirts are available in two designs and many sizes from Merchandise Maven.

Don't forget about our mailing lists ... check the Contact Info page for more information. Of course, if you are LiveJournal user, you may join or watch the LiveJournal community for updates and news. Also, I'll be focusing on my art weblog, Yammering Griffins!, more in the near future.

December 17, 2006: The biggest news is, we're moving again! Back to sunny California, this time the Bay Area in the northern half of the state. The Texas address will cease to exist this week, but watch for new contact information sometime in January once we're settled.

Everything is in for the Buffalo Wings Annual 2007 book, scheduled for release this coming January. In addition to Vince and myself, we have an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Brian Reynolds, Tracy Reynolds, and Susan Rankin, plus a full-color cover by the one and only Jen Seng. (Buffalo Wings Annual 2006 is available now at the Sofawolf web site.)

Midwest Furfest was a blast; the new Loller-Wear shirts seemed to be a hit. We'll have more of them at Further Confusion this January, plus the Buffalo Wings and some other new merchandise.

September 22, 2006: The other artists and I are hard at work on the Buffalo Wings Annual 2007 book, scheduled for release this coming January. In addition to Vince and myself, we have an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Brian Reynolds, Tracy Reynolds, and Susan Rankin, plus a full-color cover by the one and only Jen Seng. It's shaping up nicely! (Diego ComicCon was a blast this year, very inspiring. Buffalo Wings Annual 2006 is available now at the Sofawolf web site.)

I'm also starting to gear up for Midwest Furfest near Chicago in November. This is the first time I've been at this convention since it was part of Duckon, so it should be fun. Look for me there.

With Scott's help, we've also reinstated the mailing lists, with a much nicer web-based interface for subscribing and unsubscribing, a web archive for new posts, and separate lists for different projects. Check the Contact Info page for more information. Of course, if you are LiveJournal user, you may join or watch the LiveJournal community for updates and news. Also, I'll be focusing on my art weblog, Yammering Griffins!, more in the near future.

August 20, 2006: San Diego ComicCon was a blast this year, very inspiring. Buffalo Wings Annual 2006 debuted and is available now at the Sofawolf web site; I'm working with the artists for the 2007 book now. I'm also catching up on some old freelance and commissions right now, but I also have in mind future plans for several of my projects and for this site. Stay tuned.

I've made a few minor changes here. First off, most obviously, I've made some cosmetic changes to the main page, grouping and clarifying the links a bit differently. Also, I've removed the Forum and the Mailing List; both are to be considered defunct for the time being.

Of course, if you are LiveJournal user, you may join or watch the LiveJournal community for updates and news. Also, I've created Yammering Griffins!, an art weblog; this'll be developed more in the near future, but for now it's set up and available.

June 16, 2006: Griffin Park Studio has a new mailing address to reflect the move to Texas.

June 13, 2006: Griffin Park Studio has changed not only its domain name, but its geographic location as well: I am now working in Austin, Texas. Yeehaw! My business address will be updated shortly.

In other news, Buffalo Wings Annual 2006 will be available this weekend at Anthrocon. Look for it at the Sofawolf table. While I unfortunately won't be at Anthrocon, I will be at San Diego ComicCon in July, and the book will also be available there at the Sofawolf table. If you can't make either con, you can order the book directly from the Sofawolf web site after this weekend.

I've also updated the Buffalo Wings web site. It's still being tweaked, but it's pretty much all-new to go with the new book.

April 9, 2006: Griffin Park Studios is MOVING! Well, changing our domain name, anyway. From now on we'll be located at www.griffinparkstudio.com. I think I've updated all the relevant links and email addresses on the web site; if you catch any broken links, let me know. Please update your bookmarks, links, and address book entries. Also, if you notice anyone with an outdated link to my site, please let them know -- politely!

Buffalo Wings Annual 2006 is nearly wrapped up; watch for information about that and other Sofawolf projects this summer. Also remember that all three portfolios are available for order via the Paypal Shopping Cart ordering system, and the original Serious Fitness products are still available through CafePress. A few people have also been asking me about commissions; right now I'm not actively taking new ones until I'm caught up with my current block of work, but this summer I'll be reopening shop with a new pricing grid, so stay tuned.

If you're a regular LiveJournal user, feel free to watch or join the LiveJournal community I've set up to report on web site updates, upcoming events, new merchandise, and the status of Griffin Park projects. If not, you can still receive occasional updates by joining the mailing list.

March 22, 2006: I've been keeping busy with a lot of projects the last few months. This summer there are four books planned from Sofawolf that I'll have had a hand in: Buffalo Wings Annual, of course, plus Artistic Visions: Art of RedTango, Anthrolations #8, and HistoriMorphs #3. I've added information on the Sofawolf page for all these items; check them out!

Keep in mind that all three portfolios are available for order via the Paypal Shopping Cart ordering system, and the original Serious Fitness products are still available through CafePress.

January 25, 2006: Two bits of news. First of all, now that Further Confusion is past, the Serious Cowboys 2006 Portfolio is now available for mail order, along with both original Serious Fitness portfolios, from the Studio Store. I've set up a new Paypal Shopping Cart ordering system so you can order multiple portfolios and save on shipping.

Second, I've set up a LiveJournal community where you can read news on web site updates, upcoming events, new merchandise, and the status of Griffin Park projects such as Buffalo Wings, Serious Fitness, and others. Please feel free to watch or join the community if you're a regular LiveJournal user. If not, you can still receive occasional updates by joining the mailing list. And of course, feel free to join the forum ... although I need to fix a few things on that sometime soon.

January 17, 2005: The holidays have come and gone; we're already into the new year! Right now I'm busy with final preparations for Further Confusion in San Jose this weekend. If you're there, stop by and say hello in the dealer's room at table #74.

I'll be doing sketchbook commissions as usual, and will have both Serious Fitness Portfolios available. Also, there will be a brand new one introduced: the Serious Cowboys 2006 Portfolio, nine black-and-white prints of some handome dudes decked out in their western gear. Heh heh. Shortly after the convention, I'll put more information about the portfolio and mail order information here on the site, so watch for that in the coming week or two.

Again, please feel free to join the mailing list or the forum to keep up to date with the infrequent news around here. I'm also thinking about starting up a LiveJournal account just for web site and project updates; I'll make an announcement when that happens.

September 10, 2005: I finished the big project that was taking up my summer, and then took a short, mandated, and much-needed vacation out of town for a few days. Now that I'm back, I'm just catching up on the freelance and commissions that had been put on the back burner for the summer.

My host has moved my site to a new server; the transition should be fairly invisible to most users. However, I did take the opportunity to create two new project subdomains, buffalowings.griffinparkstudio.com and seriousfitness.griffinparkstudio.com. If you've linked to either of these sections for some reason, you may need to update your links!

Finally, the Serious Fitness 2005 Portfolio is now available in the Studio Store, as well as the original 2004 Portfolio. So if you've been waiting to order one, now's the time! Meanwhile, please feel free to join the mailing list or the forum to keep in the know!

July 22, 2005: Well, Anthrocon and ComicCon have come and gone for another year; both events were fun, as always. For now, I'm back to the daily grind at home, but there are a few announcements to make.

First of all, I've added links to purchase the Serious Fitness 2005 Portfolio to the Studio Store ... so if you've been watching for that, here it is. I've also added links to order both Portfolios together, if you don't already have the first one, and want to save a few bucks on shipping.

Second, it's looking very likely that Griffin Park Studio will actually be an exhibitor at San Diego ComicCon in 2006, sharing a table with my friends at Sofawolf Press. Obviously that's an opportunity I don't want to miss out on, so stay tuned here in the coming months as I announce and unveil plans for several projects to take place over the next year.

In the meantime, please feel free to join the mailing list or the forum to keep in the know!

July 12, 2005: Returned from Anthrocon in Philadelphia; the convention went over well, saw a lot of old and new friends, and the Serious Fitness 2005 Portfolio seemed to go over pretty well. If you missed it or weren't able to attend, I'll have information posted here soon on how to order a portfolio by mail.

This coming weekend (July 14-17) is ComicCon in San Diego; I'll be stopping by there briefly to look around. Other than that ... it's getting caught up on loads of freelance work and some commissions I owe people, and hopefully soon after that, continuing work on Buffalo Wings, Truckstop Earth, Serious Fitness ... and so on.

July 1, 2005: A proud and cheerful Independence Day to everyone this coming weekend ... I myself will be busy with the freelance work still to do, and looking ahead to when this project is done and I'm caught up on some other commissions, being able to start work on Buffalo Wings, Truckstop Earth, and other fun stuff.

This coming weekend (July 7-10) is Anthrocon in Philadelphia, and I'll be there ... debuting the Serious Fitness 2005 Portfolio. If you'll be there, stop by and say hello. If you won't be there but would like a Portfolio, check back here in the weeks after the convention, and I'll have information on how to order them by mail.

The following weekend, of course (July 14-17) is ComicCon in San Diego. I won't have a table this year, but I will be in attendence and lurking around the dealer's room floor.

June 20, 2005: It's time to upload www.griffinpark.com version 5.0 ... much of the same information as before, but with some significant organizational changes, cleaning out some old and redundant stuff, and making information more compact for people with smaller monitors. Hope things look good!

Check here for specific information coming up on Anthrocon and ComicCon in July... verifying I'll be able to attend, and whether I'll have any new products available. Hopefully ...

Things have been busy since moving back to California earlier this year, mostly with a big chunk of freelance I'm working on for a former employer. I also have a stack of commissions I'd like to get finished and off my plate before I start taking on any new work. Beyond that ... this summer and beyond I hope to get work in on some of my own projects, including Buffalo Wings, Truckstop Earth, and Serious Fitness. Stay tuned!

January 19, 2005: Biggest news around here is that I've moved! Florida was a fun place to stay for awhile, but for work and other reasons I felt the need to get back to sunny Southern California. Sure, there's earthquakes, but there's also no hurricanes here! I'll miss my friends down in the southeast, but it's also been nice catching up with old friends here on the West coast again. I'll be back to visit Florida, that's for sure.

Further Confusion was a blast; got to meet a lot of old and new friends. Also, now that both volumes of the Buffalo Wings Reunion are wrapped up and available from Sofawolf Press, it's time to start looking ahead. Very soon we'll be announcing the Buffalo Wings Annual, a continuation of the story in trade paperback format from where it left off when Wild Life was cancelled almost ten years ago. I'll be writing the stories, and there will be more artwork from Vince Suzukawa, myself, and ... well, just check the Buffalo Wings pages for more information.
